Minister of Culture, Helmy Alnmnm, opens the activities of the ninth session of the tenth National Festival of Egyptian cinema entitled "Our films, our mirrors.", Al Bawaba News reported. The festival will be held from the 7th to the 16th of October, under the chairmanship of cinema Director Samir Seif, at the great theater in the Opera House Wednesday evening. This year, the festival honors a number of Egyptian cinema icons, including Yehia Al-Fakharani, actress Laila Elwi and others. The festival also is scheduled to hold a number of seminars in which a number of departed artists will be honored for their role to enrich the Egyptian and Arab cinema.
