Egypt's prominent columnist, Abdel Rehim Aly criticized several parliament candidates who have opposed the decrees of the military institution since Jan.25, 2011 revolution, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. Although the Egyptian armed forces are performing an advanced role in securing the nation against many threats, some figures who oppose the army will run in the upcoming elections, Aly said. Aly signaled to calls of sectarian voting which had spread recently in a bid to target the stability of the nation, adding that the armed forces had thwarted a number of terror schemes was to be staged prior the parliament elections. Achieving parliamentary elections, as scheduled, will encourage investors to return to the Egyptian market, Aly added.
