Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi and his accompanying delegation arrived on Monday to the US New York City to participate in the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations. The Press Office of the Prime Minister announced earlier in the day that al-Abadi headed to New York at the head of a ministerial delegation to attend the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations. Abadi will deliver Iraq's speech in the meetings of the Assembly and will also hold a number of meetings with heads of state to strengthen bilateral relations and address the political, security and economic challenges and the war on ISIS terrorist organization. Abadi will participate in the international conference to combat terrorism and to support Iraq in facing terrorism, which will be held in New York in the presence of international figures.
