The Syrian government forces killed a number of terrorists, including a ringleader, and destroyed their vehicles in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in Daraa city, sources said on Thursday. On Wednesday, two vehicles, one of which was equipped with a heavy machinegun, were destroyed during military operations in al-Karak neighborhood and to the South of the Technical Institute in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city. Terrorists were also killed in the operations. The army also targeted terrorists' concentration centers in al-Siba and al-Arbain neighborhoods, leaving a large group of terrorists killed and injured. The Syrian forces also thwarted terrorists' attempts to infiltrate al-Minshia neighborhood to support their fellow terrorists there. A group of Takfiri militants were killed in the operation. Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.
