The terrorists were killed in the town of Qaryatayn while their vehicles and military equipment were destroyed by the Syrian airstrikes. Qaryatayn is located at a strategic crossroad between northern and southern Syria. On Thursday, the Daesh militant group abducted 230 civilians, including at least 60 Christians, in Qaryatayn just hours after the Takfiri group captured the town. Meanwhile, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said clashes between Daesh terrorists and al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front and allied militants have left at least 10 terrorists and 18 militants dead in the north of the country. According to the London-based group, the terrorists are fighting over control of four villages in the Aleppo Province, which is located along the militants' supply route coming from southern Turkey. It added that the fighting started on Saturday night. Syria has been gripped in a deadly conflict since March 2011. Washington and its regional allies, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, are widely believed to be supporting the militant groups in Syria. According to reports, more than 240,000 Syrians have been killed and millions more displaced due to the four-year conflict in the misery-stricken Arab country.
