Egyptian Chief of Staff, Mahmoud Hijazi discussed with senior British military leaders the anti-terrorism efforts and stability restoration in the Middle East, Al-Bawaba News reported Thursday. Hijazi began his official visit to London by inspecting the security affiliate anti-terrorism unit to stand on the latest technical preparations and trainings of one of the most powerful formations of special forces in the world. After the meeting, Hijazi and his British counterpart attended a presentation on the developments in military strategy and operations in which British troops are involved under the umbrella of the United Nations in many areas around the world. Following the presentation, Hijazi met with Michael Fallon, the British Defense Minister at the headquarters of the ministry, where both sides discussed regional and international developments. Fallon emphasized on his country's support and appreciation to Egypt's strategic role in the Middle East.
