Muslim Brotherhood (MB) supporters staged a protest without prior authorization in Al Matareya district in Cairo after the end of Friday prayers, Al Bawaba News reported. The protesters chanted slogans against the army and police, as well as raising Rabaa signs. Security forces tightened their grip on the district's main streets to prevent any violence act and to break up the demonstrations. Protesting is criminalized in Egypt according to a protest law issued by interim authorities following the ouster of MB rule, July 2013.
