MB supporters illegally protest in Matareya

Muslim Brotherhood (MB) supporters on Friday staged a protest without prior authorization in Al Matareya district in Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported.
The protesters blocked the district's streets, chanting slogans against the army and police, eyewitnesses said.
Security forces were deployed to break up the demonstrations. Protesting is criminalized in Egypt according to a protest law issued by interim authorities following the ouster of MB rule, July 2013.
