MB supporters violently protest in Matareya

Muslim Brotherhood (MB) supporters held on Friday an illegal protest at Al Matareya district in Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported.
The protesters blocked streets in the district, burning car tires and garbage bins, as well as chanting slogans against the army and police, according to Al-Bawaba.
Security forces were deployed to the district to break up the demonstrations as unlicensed protetsing is considered illegal in Egypt according to a Protest Law issued in Sep. 2013 by the then Egyptian interim authorities following a series of deadly blasts.
