Egypt's Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh Damati signed a cooperation protocol with Japanese government to display Egyptian Antiquities exhibition in eight major Japanese cities for 25 months, Al Bawaba News reported Tuesday. The exhibition entitled ‘Pyramids builders' era' will be open from October until September 2017 and will include 120 pieces of Antiquities. The eight major Japanese cities where the ancient Egyptian Antiquities will be on display include, Tokyo, Matsuyama, Sendai, Kagoshima, Kyoto, Toyama, Fukuoka and Shizuoka. The protocol aims to promote Egypt's tourism industry, and its archaeological and cultural sites there. Damati revealed in a statement to Al Bawaba that the exhibition is most likely to make a profit of an estimated $ 2 million, which will contribute in boosting the ministry's financial resources and benefit other archaeological projects. The minister pointed out that the insurance value of the exhibition is estimated at $ 138 million and 570 thousand.
