Supreme Council for Antiques agreed to organize an exhibition entitled "submerged secrets of Egypt" in three European capitals, which are Paris, London and Berlin, based on their statements today. The exhibition will start next year and decision to organize it was taken after a request from European Institute for Underwater Archaeology for 600 thousand Euros. Dr. Mamdouh El-Damaty Minister of Antiquities said that officials have taken all necessary measures to protect and secure the artifacts from any damage or theft. Damaty added that this exhibition will help in reviving tourism in the Egypt and boosting ties with European countries, in addition for being financial source for the ministry. The exhibition will include 293 antiquities that were chosen from Egyptian museums, according to the statements of Ahmed Ashraf Head of the Museums Sector. He added that the exhibition will be in France from September 2015 until January 2016, then Germany starting April 2016 until August, then Britain from November 2016 until March 2017.
