Unidentified assailants attempted to bomb a police van transports security forces in Faiyum city, leaving damages at the van, but no injuries reported, Al Bawaba News reported on Saturday. Security sources affirmed that assailants planted an improvised explosive device on the roadside of Hawateem district in Faiyum, where the van passes on its way to Faiyum Court. Meanwhile, authorities investigate the crime scene, searching for the perpetrators.
