Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Movement staged on Friday limited protests, commemorating the second anniversary of the Rabia sit-in dispersal, al-Bawaba News reported. Police sources said the protests were violent but limited, stressing the security forces have tightened their presence nationwide to combat expected terror. Eyewitnesses in neighborhoods of Ma'adi in Cairo and Haram in Giza told al-Bawaba the protests were under control. The civilians also took to street to back the incumbent regime. Aug. 14, 2015 marks the second anniversary of the Rabia and El-Nahda armed sit-ins staged following the ouster of former MB president Mohamed Morsi, July 2013. Egyptian medical sources said no injuries had been reported due to today's protests.
