Wilayat Sinai leader arrested in N. Sinai

Security sources said a Wilayat Sinai senior figure has been arrested southern Sheikh Zuwaid, North Sinai, Sky News reported Wednesday.
Wilayat Sinai, formerly known as Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State (IS).
Since the ouster of Muslim Brotherhood rule, July 2013, a string of deadly attacks hit police and army personnel, mostly in the Sinai Peninsula, killing and wounding hundreds.
