Cairo cassation court decided Sunday to consider the appeals of the case publicly known as "Kerdasa massacre," on October 12, Aswat Masriya News reported. 183 defendants were sentenced to death in February, over accusations of storming Kerdasa Police Station, killing policeman and attempting to kill others, damaging the police station and possessing unlicensed weapons. Armed people affiliating to Muslim Brotherhood (MB) attacked the security forces in Giza's village of Kerdasa in a protest against the ousting of former President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
