Egypt's quota of Nile water is untouchable, official

Negotiations with Ethiopia were based on keeping Egypt's quota of the Nile water untouchable, said Egypt's Minister of Irrigation Hossam Al Moghazi.
The statement comes after few days from the meeting of the National Committee for the Renaissance Dam held in Khartoum this week.
The Egyptian official stressed Egypt's support for the development projects adopted by the Nile Basin countries demanding these countries to take into account Egypt's water quota.
Moghazi added that the officials of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia discussed a large number of technical issues during the meeting, adding that the meeting continued for 16 hours to resolve the pending issues.
