Cairo Criminal Court is scheduled to consider the retrial of eight defendants accused of targeting the Suez Canal on Saturday, Al Bawaba News reported. The prosecution accused the defendants of forming and leading a terrorist cell aiming to target the ships passing the canal and monitoring the security headquarters to pave the way for targeting them in addition to possessing bombs and threatening the national unity.
