Libya's stability is a main priority for Egypt so, the Egyptian government is offering its support for the political dialogue sponsored by the United Nations, Ambassador Ossama Al Magdob said Friday. He added in a statement that there is a need for overcoming the current crisis in Libya through reaching an agreement to end the state of security vacuum. The Egyptian diplomat, who serves as assistant foreign minister for the neighboring states, called the international community for meeting the demands of the Libyan national army to protect the country from the extremist groups. Al Magdob expressed his country's support for the legitimate institutions of the Libyan state, stressing on the need to form a national unity government to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people.
