Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab chaired Wednesday the weekly meeting of the council of ministers which came amid an ongoing clashes in the North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid, Al-Bawaba news reported. Mahlab stated that we are in a state of war, indicating that the cabinet will submit new amendments of the anti-terrorism law to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi after their meeting. The meeting was started with a minute of silence to mourn the assassination of Attorney General Hisham Barakat and all the Egyptian martyrs. Mahlab said "We have lost Hisham Barakat, who is not only the voice of the people, he was a great value and a great stature."
