Alaa Yousef, Presidency spokesman, stated Tuesday, that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Yemeni counterpart, who expressed his sincere condolences for the terror attack on Egypt's Attorney General Hisham Barakat. Al-Bawaba news reported Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, Yemeni President, condemned the attack and described it as cowardly criminal act, he expressed his condolences and sympathy to the Government, the people of Egypt, and the family of the late martyr, wishing the injured ones a speedy recovery. Hadi expressed his country's stand alongside Egypt, and its support for the measures taken to protect its security, and eliminate acts of terror aimed at deterring Egypt's stability and safety. From his side, Egypt's president El-Sisi, expressed his appreciation for the brotherly attitude of Yemen, leadership and people, and emphasized on the importance of coordinating joint Arab coalition efforts to confront violence and terrorism, restore security and ensure stability in the Arab region.
