Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab met Sunday with Ambassador of Cote d'Ivoire in Cairo and discussed ways to boost mutual cooperation between the two countries, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. Spokesman for the prime ministry, Ambassador Hossam Al Quaouih announced that Mahlab stressed during the meeting on the importance of following up the results of his recent visit to Abidjan and his meetings with officials there, which took place in March. Mahlab pointed out to the need to prepare for the next session of the joint committee for cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, Mahlab discussed with the ambassador the most important issues of common interest between the two countries and ways to promote cooperation between the two countries in many economic sectors, such as construction field. Meanwhile, the Ivorian ambassador expressed his country's keenness on strengthening ties with Egypt in various fields, pointing to the ongoing preparations by his country to welcome the visits of Egyptian officials.
