Matrouh security agencies aborted an attempt by 46 persons to sneak into Libya illegally.
Matrouh security director major general al Enani Hammouda had received a report on the attempt and the arrestees who hail from the governorates of Minya, Beheira, Suhag, Assiut, Fayyoum, Qena, Sharqiya, Damietta and Menoufia, in addition to two Sudanese nationals.
They were referred to the prosecution for investigations.
