Syrian regime forces killed Wednesday a senior commander of Al Qaeda-linked Al Nusra Front amid clashes with the rebels and Islamic factions in the northern countryside of Al Quneitra, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported. The Islamic battalions targeted regime forces positions in the area of Tall Bzaq and Hersh Jaba, near the administrative boundaries of Rif Dimashq, destroying a heavy machinegun, with no information about casualties on the regime forces side. Moreover, the regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on different areas in the countryside of Al Quneitra, with no information about casualties.
