Assad's regime launches 1709 airstrikes in 2 weeks: SOHR

Syrian Air Force allied with President, Bashar Al Assad carried out 1709 airstrikes on various provinces last two weeks, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported Wednesday.
The Observatory stated that Syrian helicopters launched 725 air strikes targeted areas in Damascus, Dar'aa Aleppo, Idlib, Reef Dimashq, al-Quneitra, Hama, Der-Ezzor, Lattakia, al-Hasakah, and Damascus.
They added that Syrian helicopters dropped more than 984 explosive barrels on areas in Damascus, Dar'aa, Aleppo, Idlib, Reef Dimashq, Homs, Hama, Al Hasakah, Lattakia, Raqqa, Der-Ezzor.
SOHR pointed out that the regime's airstrikes killed 260 civilians including 81children and 51 women, as well as killing 80 rebel fighters, Islamic battalions, Nusra Front and Islamic State jihadist group.
