Egypt's Foreign Ministry should perform a major role to confront the efforts exerted by the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to defame Egypt's image before the international community, said Professor of Political Science Tarik Fahmy. The political expert said, in a statement to Youm7, the diplomatic institution should provide the evidences that prove the group's involvement in the terrorist attacks committed in Egypt during the recent months. He added that the banned group sends false documents over their leaders' positions in the prisons to the western parliaments to gain their sympathy against the Egyptian government. He praised the measure taken by the Foreign Ministry to summon the U.S Ambassador to Cairo to clarify the facts, describing it as an important step to challenge the group's efforts to incite the U.S against Egypt.
