Muslim Brotherhood (MB) works currently to create diplomatic crises between Egypt and a number of western countries, said Dr. Tarik Fahmy, Professor of Political Science. He added, in a statement to Youm7, "The terrorist group exerts its efforts to use the Islamist associations in the west to pressure the western officials to take positions against Egypt." He continued, "We should not underestimate the MB's foreign moves. They use the verdicts issued against its leaders to intensify its foreign activities to push the western countries, especially Britain, to adopt hostile position against Egypt."
