Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched a few consecutive attacks targeting Houthi missile sites in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, Sky News reported Friday. The coalition command center announced that the military operations in Yemen would not end until the application of UN resolution number 2216. Yemeni military sources who asked to remain anonymous told Sky News that the coalition fighter jets launched several air raids on Houthi rebels' positions in Sanaa, including missile sites in Attan district and the headquarters of the military police in Marib district. The UN resolution number 2216 bans Houthi leader, Abdul Malik Badreddin Al Houthi and other leaders from travelling abroad and it also freezes their assets. It also forbids any sale of arms to the group, which harms peace, stability and security of the country, according to the resolution.
