Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi inaugurates Wednesday, the African Free Trade Zone summit in the presence of multiple African leaders as well as heads of COMESA, SADC, and East African Community in Sharm El Sheikh, Al Bawaba news reported. Secretary General of COMESA, Sanysio Ngwenya will inaugurate the summit by delivering the opening speech, then it will be followed by a welcoming word by President Al Sisi for the guests. A number of the international leaders will present their countries' views regarding the establishment of a new common market bloc including, Jim Yong, World Bank president, Mukhisa Kituyi, secretary general of UNCTAD organization, head of EAC, Dr. Mohamed Gharib Bilal, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Tanzania, Chairman of COMESA and Prime Minister of Ethiopia Hailemariam Dessalines, and President of Zimbabwe, Roberto Mugabe. Al Sisi will held, then, a closed meeting to review reports of the 3rd meeting for the prime ministers of the three economic groupings, on the Free Trade Area Agreement, and its implementation's road map. Afterwords, a dinner banquet in honor of the visiting leaders will be held, before the signing of the Free Trade Area agreement and Sharm El Sheikh declaration launching a one trade regime for the three communities. The conference will concludes with a speech by the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, representative of East Africa Group, and President Al Sisi.
