President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met Monday the Director General of Russian Roastom Atomic Energy Corporation, Sergey Kirienko in Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported. The President praised during the meeting the historical relationship between Egypt and Russia, expressing his appreciation to the Russian President, Vladimir Putin for his support for Egypt. Sisi said that the joint projects that have been implemented between the two countries represent the Egyptian-Russian friendship relation. For his part, Kirienko submitted a proposal for the establishment of an Egyptian nuclear power plant to produce electricity according to the modern technology systems, pointing out that the station will include four units for the production of electric power in safe ways. Kirienko added that this station will provide twenty thousand jobs opportunities in the infrastructure field, as well providing six thousand jobs opportunities in the operational phase.
