Egypt's police on Sunday seized a workshop illegally manufacturing ammunition in Gharbeya province, northern Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported. The workshop, located in a deserted poultry farm, manufactured guns and explosives used in a chain of terror attacks targeting pylons, railways and different vital institutions, security sources revealed. Police seized a number of rifles, over 20 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and 60 bottles containing T.N.T. materials. Since the former president Mohamed Morsi was ousted, July 2013, a string of attacks have been carried out claiming hundreds of lives, mostly among security personnel.
