MBs illegally protest, block roads western Cairo

Muslim Brotherhood (MB) supporters staged an illegal protest Wednesday night in Al Matareya district, eastern Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported.
Holding Rabia banners, the protestors chanted slogans inciting violence against the regime and blocked the roads by burning car tyres, eyewitnesses said.
Al Matareya, a stronghold of the MB banned group, has witnessed several protests and clashes with security personnel since former President Mohamed Morsi was ousted July 2013.
The area also witnessed the assassination of police officer Wael Tahoun as well as his driver last April after they had been shot dead.
