Cairo Criminal court will try Tuesday 16 defendants, charged with violent crimes in Cairo's Maadi district dating back to the fourth commemoration of the January 25 revolution, Al Bawaba News reported. Port Said Criminal Court will consider the case known in the media as the "Port Said prison" in which 51 defendants face 42 murder charges, including the killing of two policemen, Ahmed Al Bulki and Ayman Al Afifi. Meanwhile, Cairo's Administrative Court will try 58 professors of Minya University over charges of being affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization. The court will decide whether or not it will order them into compulsory retirement.
