Security sources confirmed Sunday that unidentified militants had stolen two vehicles at gunpoint in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid city, Al Masry Al Youm newspaper reported. The sources added that the stolen vehicle could be used in terrorist attacks against police and army personnel in Sinai. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army launched a widespread military operation against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for repeated and deadly attacks targeting military and police personnel.
