Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi visited Jordan Thursday to hold talks with King Abdullah II in light of the International Economic Forum (Davos) taking place by the Dead Sea on 21-23 May, Al Bawaba News reported. In Basman Palace, the two leaders held dual talks prior to the cluster sessions including official delegations from both countries. King Abdullah expressed his support for Egyptian efforts to achieve stability and reinforce its role in the Middle East. Sisi praised Jordan's exerted efforts to hold the Davos forum on its land, asserting that this event is important to discuss different political and economic issues in addition to the challenges facing the region. The two leaders reviewed the situation of Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya, of which terrorist movements have took control over vast areas of their territories, threatening neighboring nations. They also discussed the revival of peace talks between Palestine and Israel that may lead to real solutions for the long lasting conflict.
