Sisi, US Central Command chief meet in Cairo

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met Wednesday with General Lloyd James Austin, Head of US Central Command, in Cairo, state media reported.
The two officials discussed the recent developments on the regional and international arena and the anti-terrorism efforts exerted by the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Egypt's Defense Minister Sedky Sobhi and Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy at Heliopolis' presidential palace.
The U.S military official met with Minister of Defense Sedky Sobhy on Tuesday. They discussed a number of issues of mutual interests and the ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
