Assailants open fire on security patrol in Faiyum

Unidentified assailants opened fire on a security patrol on the Faiyum ring road early Sunday, Youm7 news reported.
Reports stated that the assailants escaped after a gunfire exchange with the patrol. No casualties were reported.
Faiyum security sources are combing the area in search for the perpetrators.
Security forces had dispersed Muslim Brotherhood (MB) demonstrators on Saturday, who attempted to block the Cairo-Faiyum road in protest against ousted President Mohamed Morsi's death penalty, pronounced on the same day.
