Gunmen kill policeman in Faiyum

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a policeman on the Cairo-Faiyum road, south of Cairo Friday, Aswat Masriya website reported.
Security source said that three masked assailants opened fire on two policemen near Bihmu village on the Cairo-Faiyum road, killing one of them.
Security forces combed the area, searching for the perpetrators.
Hundreds of police and army personnel have been killed by militants since former President Mohamed Morsi's ouster in July 2013.
