Egypt's president Abdulfattah Al-Sisi will attend Sunday a military funeral due to be held for three judges murdered Saturday in North Sinai, east of Cairo, sources told Al-Bawaba News. Egypt's PM Ibrahim Mahlab, Minister of Defense, Sedky Sobhy, the Military Chief of Staff, Mahmud Hegazy and the Attorney General, Hisham Barackat are set to attend the funeral, the sources added. Al-Sisi ordered today a military funeral for the slain judges, according to a statement in which he stressed " the terrroist attacks will never dissuade Egypt's brave judges from doing their noble mission". Militants in the restive North Sinai city of Al-Arish opened fire on a mini bus carrying the judges, leaving four dead, including the bus driver, and another judge seriously injured, according to the state TV. The shooting came hours after a criminal court in Cairo sentenced ousted MB president Mohamed Morsi, along with 105 codefendants, to death over crimes of espionage and breaking out of jail during the 18-day 2011 uprising.
