A roadside bomb blew off Saturday in front of Mary Girgis church in Fayoum, south of Cairo, two hours following a death sentence against ousted president Mohamed Morsi, Al Bawaba News reported. The area was cordoned and the bomb disposal experts were deployed to the scene, searching for other potential threats, police said. No data was released whether there were victims. A statement issued on Saturday by the MB Freedom and Justice Party threatened "the incumbent regime would pay price" for the today's verdict, in allusion to violent retaliation. Public prosecution is currently probing into the incident.
