The Saudi-led military coalition is considering a halt to air strikes against Yemen's Houthi rebels to provide humanitarian aid for Yemenis, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Jubeir said Monday, Sky News Arabia reported. Jubeir added that the coalition's raids will stop in specific times to clear the air space for relief flights heading to the afflicted Yemeni cities, warning Houthis of taking advantage of this decision. He asserted that Saudi Arabia discusses establishing a joint humanitarian aid center on its land to coordinate delivering help to people in the conflict-torn country. Yemeni population has been trapped in a confrontation between Iran-backed Houthi rebels and military troops loyal to Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, who is believed to be outside the country.
