Violent clashes erupted late on Sunday between civilians and Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group loyalists in the Mediterranean city of Damietta leaving two civilians injured, Al-Bawaba News reported. Said Mohamed, 20, and Mohamed Khadrajy, 35, were shot in separate parts of the body, according to medical and security sources. The injured were carried to hospital for treatment. These clashes come while Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab is visiting the city to inaugurate the International Ophthalmology Hospital. Egypt has been home to violent bloody clashes and deadly blasts since the former president was ousted July 2013 amid military-backed mass street protests. The MB group was designated as terrorist in Sep. 2013 following a string of terrorist attacks claiming hundreds of lives among security personnel and civilians.
