Egypt's Azza Al-Garf, a Muslim Brotherhood prominent female figure, has urged MB affiliates to keep protesting marches to reach what she called the "noble aims of revolution", Al-Bawaba News reported Thursday. "Street protests make the only solution to resume MB revolution," she said in a tweet posted Thursday, warning the MB activists from straying from what she described "the revolution path". The MB affiliates have been protesting over the past two years, calling for the reinstatement of former president Mohamed Morsi who was ousted July 2013 amid military backed mass street protests. The ousted group has been designated as terrorist by Egyptian juduiciary following a string of deadly blasts claiming hundreds of Egyptian police and miliatry personnel. Egypt's interim authorities issued Sep.2013 a protest law that criminalizes unlicensed protesting. Al-Garf's call comes in contrast with a reconciliation initiative purportedly signed by jailed MB senior figures including deputy Supreme Guide Khayrat Al-Shater. Al-Garf, known for her political contradicted views, was chosen by MB group to participate in drafting the 2012 constitution, suspended later on by the June 30 revolution.
