Cairo's Security Directorate intensified Friday security measures around the Mataria police station, after the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group instructed its supporters to break into the precinct, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. The MB claimed that a lawyer had died as a result of torture and police brutality inside the station, justifying its orders to followers. Security reinforcements were deployed to the station and tough security measures taken to counter any potential terrorist attack.
