Security forces of Egypt's Ramses Underground Metro station arrested Thursday seven veiled women over throwing a peculiar object, suspected to be an improvised explosive device (IED), Al-Bawaba News reported. Eyewitnesses said the arrested women voiced the two Islamic testimonials ( an Islamic creed showing belief in oneness of God and the acceptance of Mohamed as the God's prophet) before throwing the suspected bomb. A state of confusion emanated among passengers, they added. Bomb disposal experts are currently examining the object, a source at Egypt's Metro Operation and Management Company said. Egypt has been home to a string of deadly bombings since former president Mohamed Morsi was ousted July 2013 amid mass street protests.
