Egypt, Ethiopia and South Africa have been selected to nominate one country- out of the three - to host the 9th World Water Forum to be held in six years with the participation of 170 countries. This came during the African day events that were organized by the African Ministers' Council on Water on Friday 17/4/2015 on the sidelines of the 7th World Water Forum in the South Korean city of Daegu. During the event, Egypt has expressed its full readiness to provide all forms of support and participation in any water project or program with other African countries through providing Egyptian expertise in the related fields. The Egyptian delegation stressed that most of the African countries are in dire need for joint action especially in the fields of sanitation and clean drinking water.
