IS kills 8 Hashd al-Shaabi fighters in Iraq

The Islamic State jihadist group (IS) militants killed Monday eight Hashad Al Shaabi (Popular Crowd) fighters in Saladin province, according to Albawaba News.
Iraqi security sources confirmed that gun battles between IS fighters and Hashad Al Shaabi troops on a Highway road, left eight dead and 43 injured.
Hashd Al Shaabi is a Shiite militia formed by the Iraqi government in 2014 to support the Iraqi security forces in the fight against IS.
