Former Muslim Brotherhood coordinator for foreign affairs, Youssef Nada said he is pleased with the U.S. decision to lift the restraint off his private property and corporations. Nada told Al Bawaba newspaper that the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group in Egypt has committed mistakes during its rule, failing to meet the nation's aspirations. He stressed that the group's leaders in Egypt ignored numerous tips and instructions from the leaders of the international organization, as they adopted "inflexible" policies. Nada pointed out that the MB's regime in Tunisia was fortunate and wise in dealing with its political opponents unlike the regime in Egypt. "Despite the declining popularity of the MB in Tunisia, the group maintained its internal solidity, as it is still in a better shape than the majority of MB groups across the Arab world," Nada said. Nada affirmed that the Brotherhood will return to the Egyptian political scene, saying that it is only a matter of time. He asserted that the reconciliation is the only way for the MB to return to the political scene in Egypt, expressing his deep concern over the death penalties against the group's leaders.
