Egypt's Deputy Minister of Interior for the public security sector, Major General Sayed Shafiq said Sunday that security forces detained 61 Muslim Brotherhood terrorists involved in violent incidents in 10 provinces. Shafiq added that security forces have raided several terrorist hideouts in 10 provinces, including Fayoum, Alexandria, Minya, Assiut, Suez, Cairo, Qalyubia, Damietta, South Sinai, and Beni Suef. The 61 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group members had an arrest warrant against them from the public prosecution's office. The detainees face charges of involving in riots, attacking security forces' headquarters, and inciting violence against military and police personnel.
