Cairo Criminal Court resumed Saturday the trial of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 10 co-defendants, in the case publicly known as the "espionage case". Morsi and 10 other defendants face accusations of collaborating with foreign organizations and countries including Qatar to support acts of terrorism in Egypt, revealing national security classified information to foreign countries, and funding terrorist activities. Morsi and a number of Muslim Brotherhood leaders are charged in separate cases, including revealing classified documents, military tactical information and intelligence reports to Qatar and Al Jazeera channel, inciting murder of protesters and breaking out of Wadi Al Natrun prison in 2011.
