MB supporters, residents clash – one person injured

Serious clashes erupted early Friday between dozens of Muslim Brotherhood supporters and the residents of Faisal district, leaving one resident injured.
The clashes occurred when Brotherhood supporters started chanting abusive slogans against the Army and the Police, during a protest march they held in Faisal.
The chanting provoked the anger of the residents and they began to clash with the Brotherhood supporters who in turn, threw stones and fireworks at them.
The security forces dispersed the Brotherhood protest with tear gas and deployed armored police vehicles in the area.
